1. UK Legal Framework

Discretion operates as a technology platform and directory within the United Kingdom. We are not an agency and do not arrange, manage, or facilitate any physical meetings or services between users. We provide a listing and communication service only.

The platform operates in compliance with UK law, including the Sexual Offences Act 2003, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Online Safety Act 2023, and UK GDPR.

2. Age Verification

All users must be 18 years of age or older to access Discretion. We verify age through email confirmation, mandatory government ID verification via Yoti, and reserve the right to request additional documentation at any time.

Any content depicting or suspected of depicting minors is immediately removed and reported to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).

3. Modern Slavery Act 2015

We take our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act extremely seriously. Our platform employs AI-driven detection of coercive language patterns, monitors for signs of third-party control over accounts, and trains all moderation staff to recognise indicators of trafficking and exploitation.

We maintain a direct reporting channel to the National Crime Agency and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. Any profile or listing where exploitation is suspected is removed immediately.

4. Online Safety Act 2023

Discretion maintains robust content moderation systems in compliance with the Online Safety Act 2023. This includes automated AI moderation of all uploaded content, human review of flagged material, transparent reporting mechanisms accessible from every page, and a dedicated trust and safety team.

5. UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our lawful basis for processing includes consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests. Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port their data by contacting our data protection officer.

6. Consumer Rights Act 2015

Our diamond system operates in compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Diamond purchases are clearly described with pricing displayed before purchase. Our refund policy is outlined in our Terms of Service.

7. Digital Economy Act 2017

We implement age verification in accordance with the Digital Economy Act 2017 and related Ofcom guidance. All users must verify their age before accessing adult content on the platform.

8. Reporting & Safeguarding

Every page on Discretion includes a report button. Reports are triaged by our moderation team and escalated where appropriate. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies and will provide information in response to valid legal requests.
