Complaints and Content Takedown Policy

How to raise a concern or request removal of content

Effective 4 July 2026

This policy explains how to make a complaint, how to request removal of content (including content that infringes your rights or was posted without consent), and how we handle these requests.

1.How to Complain

You can raise a complaint about content, conduct, a decision, or your experience by contacting info@discretion.vip. Please include enough detail for us to investigate, such as links, usernames, and a description of the issue.

2.Content Removal Requests

If content features you and was posted without your consent, infringes your rights, or is otherwise unlawful, contact info@discretion.vip with details and, where possible, evidence of your identity or rights. We prioritise non-consensual intimate image reports and act quickly.

3.Altered, Manipulated, and Deepfake Content

The Platform prohibits AI-generated, synthetic, face-swapped, or otherwise digitally altered or manipulated intimate imagery, including non-consensual sexual deepfakes. If you believe content appears to alter or manipulate your likeness, or otherwise represents you without your consent, you can report it in the app using the report tool (select 'Non-consensual or altered image (deepfake)') or contact info@discretion.vip.

A person who is depicted, or who is potentially or apparently represented, in such content may request its removal even if they are not a registered user. We treat these reports as urgent, we do not require you to prove the content is fake before we act, and we remove content that we assess to be manipulated or non-consensual while we investigate.

4.Right of a Depicted Person to Request Removal and Appeal

Any person who is depicted, or who is potentially or apparently represented, in content on the Platform may ask us to remove it and may appeal a decision, whether or not they hold an account. Send your request to info@discretion.vip. We will acknowledge it, investigate, and tell you the outcome. If you disagree with our decision, you may ask for it to be reviewed by a different member of our trust and safety team, and you may then escalate to independent dispute resolution as set out below.

5.Independent Dispute Resolution

If a complaint or removal request cannot be resolved between you and us, we will, at our own expense, refer the disagreement to a neutral, independent dispute resolution provider. We use the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), an established independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body, and we will abide by its process. This is in addition to any statutory or regulatory route otherwise available to you, and does not affect your right to contact a regulator or the courts.

For non-consensual intimate images, you can also use StopNCII.org, a free tool operated by the Revenge Porn Helpline that helps prevent intimate images being shared online, and we cooperate with such services.

6.Intellectual Property and Copyright

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@discretion.vip including identification of the work, the location of the infringing content, your contact details, and a statement of good faith belief and accuracy. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the content and may act against repeat infringers.

7.Urgent and Safety Reports

Reports involving minors, non-consensual content, threats, or exploitation are treated as urgent and actioned immediately, including removal and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities.

8.How We Handle Requests

  • We acknowledge complaints and aim to respond within a reasonable time.
  • We may request further information to verify the request.
  • We take proportionate action, which may include removal, restriction, suspension, or referral to authorities.
  • We keep records of complaints and outcomes.

9.Appeals

If you disagree with a decision, you may request a review. Decisions relating to illegal content and safety are final.

10.Regulators

For data protection complaints you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (Australia). Other regulators or authorities may apply depending on the matter.

11.Contact

For any enquiry, including support, privacy and data protection, content reports, complaints, copyright, and legal or law enforcement matters, contact info@discretion.vip. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
